Welcome to the Whitehaven Sea Cadets website

The Sea Cadet Corps is open to all youngsters, male and female, between 10 and 18 years of age. We are not a pre-service organisation, but more of a youth service run on Royal Navy lines, using Naval values, discipline and activities.

Whitehaven unit, or Training Ship (TS) Bee to give our full title, has a senior Sea Cadet section for those aged 12-18 and runs on Wednesday and Friday evenings between 1900 and 2100.

We also have a junior section for ages 10 – 11 who attend on Friday evenings between 1900 and 2100.

Due to storm damage to our unit which occurred in December 2013, we are currently in temporary accommodation at Kent House, Carter Lane, Whitehaven CA28 7DA.  If you are interested in joining us or just want to pop down and see what we do and get more information, please contact us via our  “Contact Us” page or give us a call (parade nights only) on 07974 609 107 or 01946 329 046.
